Washington, DC is one of the great cities of the world and attracts over 15 million tourists a year. It is much more than a city of monuments or the seat of our government. Washington has some of the greatest museums in the world, universities, performing arts, galleries, world class restaurants and hotels, and unique and diverse neighborhoods. It is home to over 700 thousand people.
But there's more beyond the city. The Washington DC metro area boasts wonderful and diverse communities from the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay to Northern Virginia horse country. Six million people make this area their home.
